Susanna Ries has been creating stained glass for twelve years. She began taking glass classes at Renaissance Glassworks in Nashua NH and has been showing her pieces at two local Galleries in Manchester and Concord. She is also a local juried artist of the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen. She accepts commissions for many types of glass projects within client's homes and as gifts.
Her background is in fine art - she earned a BA Degree in Art from Colby-Sawyer College in New London NH majoring in Photography and Painting. Susanna has worked as a Graphic Designer in High Tech for 26 years. Currently she works part-time as a graphic designer and is taking care of her young daughter.
All of her designs are done by hand and not using any preprinted patterns. She gets many of her ideas from nature and from putting colors together in a harmonious way.
