Mary Walker was born and raised in Manchester, NH. While she pursued a career in Healing Arts, and was self employed in that field for several years, she always maintained her love for painting. In fact, she found great inspiration and motivation from this combination of interests and attributes that experience to her ability to express emotion in her subject matter. Oil paint is her medium of choice. She is a Modern Impressionist who enjoys the challenge of capturing a moment in time while exploring the color and texture of the landscape.
In 2003 she retired from her business so that she may devote more of her time to painting. Her work is included in several private collections throughout New Hampshire and Maine.
