Jeanne Lachance has been an artist for 35 years. She owned and operated Studio 216, teaching hundreds of students to paint and draw. One of her specialties is teaching colored pencil. She now teaches oil painting and colored pencil at EW Poore Art Studio in Manchester, NH. Jeanne has been a member of the NH Art Association, Portsmouth New Hampshire and the Copley Society in Boston, Massachusetts. She has many awards to her credit including the Biennial Award at the NH Institute and the Georgopoulos Award for drawing at the NH Art Association’s annual show held at the Currier Gallery of Art.
Jeanne and her work have been featured in several books including The Best of Colored Pencil, The Encyclopedia of Colored Pencil Techniques, and Creative Colored Pencil.
